This survey gathered data from people in Canada currently working in the bicycle and/or micromobility industry, including bicycle mechanics, those responsible for hiring or training mechanics, and other industry employees. The purpose of this research is to understand workforce challenges facing both employers and employees, establish a baseline understanding of the bicycle mechanic profession in Canada, and support industry development and improved access to training for mechanics.
